The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA)’s Pune Board has released 4,462 affordable dwellings for sale through a computerized lottery, with prices ranging from ₹11 lakh to ₹64 lakh. The dwellings are spread over the Pune Municipal Corporation and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation sectors. According to the release, MHADA has begun the lottery’s online registration and application process.
Application dates:
The online registration and application process commenced at 12 p.m. on August 24, 2026. The deadline to submit applications is September 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Registered applicants can submit their online applications until 11:59 p.m. on September 15, 2026. The MHADA further stated that online payments for the Earnest Money Deposit will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on September 15, 2026.
According to MHADA, applicants can pay the Earnest Money Deposit via RTGS/NEFT till the respective bank’s office hours on September 16, 2026.
The provisional list of accepted applications will be released on the official MHADA website at 7 p.m. on September 29, 2026. Claims and objections to the provisional list can be submitted until 5 p.m. on October 1, 2026.
The final list of accepted applications will be announced at 7 p.m. on October 8, 2026. The computerized lottery draw will take place on October 13, 2026, at 11 a.m.
Where are the flats for sale located?
According to the list on MHADA’s website, apartments are for sale in Manjari Khurd, Mhalunge, Bhugaon, Dhanori, Warje, Katraj, Hadapsar, Pashan, Kharadi, Baner, Dhayari, Lohegaon, Bibwewadi, Mundhwa, Undri, Wadgaon, Bavdhan, and Kondhwa Khurd.
Furthermore, there are various flats for sale in Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation regions such as Moshi, Kiwale, Dudulgaon, Tathawade, Wakad, Chikhali, Ravet, Punawale, Balewadi, Rahatani, Vadmukhwadi, Manurdi, Pimple Saudagar, and Pimple Gurav.
Who can apply?
According to MHADA, the lottery includes tenements for the Economically Weak Section (EWS) and the Low Income Group (LIG). The EWS category requires an annual family income of up to ₹6 lakh, whereas the LIG category requires a maximum of ₹9 lakh.
The income certificate or evidence of income supplied by applicants must cover the period of August 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. Proof of income is required in the form of an Income Tax Return or an Income Certificate issued by the Tehsildar. According to the statement, eligibility will be determined based on the husband and wife’s joint income.
