Prithvi Pankaj Shaw (born November 9, 1999) is an Indian cricketer who has competed for the Indian team in all formats. In domestic cricket, he represents Mumbai and Delhi Capitals. Under his captaincy, the Indian team won the 2018 Under-19 World Cup.

Shaw, a right-handed opening batter, made his first international appearance on October 4, 2018, at the age of 18, becoming the second-youngest Indian after Sachin Tendulkar to score a Test century, as well as the youngest Indian to do so on debut.

Shaw made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the semi-finals of the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy on January 1, 2017. He scored a century in the second innings and was named man of the match. Shaw earned another distinction by scoring a century in his debut Duleep Trophy match, equaling Sachin Tendulkar’s record of a century in both his Ranji and Duleep Trophy debuts.

Shaw was named by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as one of the five breakout stars of men’s cricket in 2018. In July 2019, the Board of Control for Cricket in India suspended him for a doping violation, which lasted until November of the same year.

During the 2014-15 season, Prithvi Shaw and Pushkar Sharma played cricket for Mumbai’s Under-16 team.
