Pune International Airport (PNQ): All You Need to Know About Pune International Airport
Pune, located in Maharashtra, is the second-biggest city in West Central India. After inspection, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security will grant approval if everything is satisfactory.
The current building will remain intact, with some modifications to be finished by December 2024, before its components are used again.
Flyers hope that the new building won't experience the same problems as the old one and that additional belts can eventually be added.

More space will be available in the terminal building after all AAI offices and the Central Industrial Security Force are moved to the new administrative block. Additionally, the airport power substation near the entrance gate will relocate to the new structure, freeing up additional area for the development of passenger amenities.

Depending on the volume of traffic, travelling from Pune city to the airport takes between thirty and sixty minutes. Hiring a taxi is the most convenient way to go from the airport to Pune City Centre. The taxi stand at the airport's arrivals area is where you can hail one. Generally less expensive, auto rickshaws are also operated out of the airport. Additionally, a local bus service is available to you. Buses are typically packed, though. A rickshaw or a taxi is a preferable choice.
The city offers a good and affordable bus service, but the local buses are usually packed and smoke-filled. There are a tonne of auto rickshaws there, but there aren't many prepaid rickshaw stands in the city. Make sure the metre is running and be aware of your destination when driving. Remember that there's a chance you'll have to pay a little bit more.
One of the most notable neighbourhoods in the city's eastern corridor is Viman Nagar, which is located 1.9 kilometres from the airport.
